A fine example of Louis XVI design, the highly figured, Cherry veneered top is the first to catch your attention. The galleried top is supported by a single, reeded and turned column, which flairs into three graceful legs. Each leg ends with square, carved rosettes which are gilded. Details on the column are gilded as well.
