Desk with Hand Painted Decoration

This desk features multiple hours of hand painted decoration on the top surface, on all four sides of the desk and on the legs. The scenes depict figures in an Oriental garden; some are socializing, others are working or fishing. There are four drawers: a pencil drawer, a double drawer on the left and two drawers on the right. The drawer pulls and ormulu on the feet are made of solid brass.
